About Me
TÜRKSAT Model Satellite Competition – TEKNOFEST 2021–2022
I co-founded Tulpar Satellite, a student aerospace team that successfully qualified for the finals in consecutive years of the TÜRKSAT Model Satellite Competition, part of TEKNOFEST, Turkey’s premier aviation and technology event. I held dual roles as the Mechanical Subsystem Lead and Electrical Subsystem Engineer, overseeing both structural and electronic development.
We designed, built, and tested a rocket-deployed satellite payload that included custom PCBs, STM32 & ESP32 microcontrollers, and LoRa-based telemetry systems. The payload integrated critical sensors such as the Adafruit BMP280 (barometric pressure) and Ultimate GPS, and featured onboard video recording, data logging, and live telemetry transmission.
All mission objectives—excluding a minor physical misfire during rocket ejection due to altitude misreading—were fully achieved. The system was validated through extensive design reviews:
✅ POR: 100 / 100
✅ PDR: 94.37 / 100
✅ CDR: 95.31 / 100
✅ QR: 71.32 / 100
🏅 Final Result: 12th out of 111 national teams.

I am an Electronics Engineer with a balanced background in academic research and real-world engineering practice. After graduating from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 2018, I achieved a top 9,000 ranking among 2.5 million candidates in Turkey’s national university entrance exam (YKS), and began studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ).
Before officially starting my undergraduate program, I passed the English preparatory class but chose not to start irregularly. Instead, I joined a 3.5-month Work and Travel program in the United States, working in the service sector and gaining valuable experience living independently abroad at the age of 19.
Throughout my undergraduate years, I completed three engineering internships—each lasting approximately 3.5 months—at SIEMENS, HAVELSAN Technology Radar, and HAVELSAN. These internships helped me gain exposure to various domains within the electronics and defense industries, shaping my interest in systems engineering and signal processing.
I graduated in September 2023 with a GPA of 3.21 and began working at ASELSAN in October 2023 as an Electronics Test Design Engineer.
Since February 2024, I have been pursuing a Master’s degree at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). While my thesis topic is still evolving, my academic focus lies in image processing and machine learning, where I aim to bridge theoretical foundations with practical applications in intelligent systems.
